Alba Associates was established in 2004, by Les Selby, to offer management development programmes to private sector
companies. Since February 2008 he has focused on offering sector specific Networking and Knowledge Transfer Projects.

Les Selby is a qualified and experienced business development manager with a
professional background in work-based training, further and higher education management, as well as
project management in various interfaces between the world of learning and business.
Over the last 15 years, Les has been actively involved in a number of regionally based charity
organisations as a trustee and company secretary.

Immy has over 20 years experience in business both as a director in businesses, and as an advisor and
mentor to numerous start-up and small enterprises. Immy started in business in 1984 when his original
enterprise concept and subsequent business won the regional Shell Livewire award for best regional new
business idea and runner up in the national competition. He continued managing the business through its
different growth stages until 1993 when he decided to move on to pastures anew in the Netherlands
and then Cyprus.
Immy has a wide network of contacts and associates that he leverages to provide access to specialist
support more often than not on a pro bono basis. It is his business experience and rich contacts list
that he brings effectively to the table in providing business development support to businesses and
innovator.

Fiona Martin is a experienced manager working for the Third Sector (voluntary, community and
social enterprise organisations) at national, regional and local level in delivering client-based services.
She has acquired a broad understanding of the sector through her role as quality assurance officer,
project manager and as a developer of innovative e-learning and networking strategies.
Fiona has served as a charity Treasurer and Trustee for two North East based charities.
During this time she implemented a review of governance practice and introduced a number of systems to
ensure that gained quality awards. She also instigated a total financial review of both charities.
